Computational investigations of Si=C double bonded compounds

The research projects I work with concern structure, reactivity and electronic properties of variously substituted silenes as well as other heavy alkenes, imines, and ketones. I am particularly interested in the effect of reverse polarization and how it affects structure and reactivity. My projects are completely based on quantum chemical calculations.
