Synthesis of Si, Ge, and Sn cage compounds
My research projects are mainly focused on synthesis of various Si, Ge and Sn containing molecules with potential applications in molecular electronics. These systems should display new modes of sigma-conjugation. I am also investigating how to attach them to metal nanoparticles. Last but not least, I have been involved in the application of carbamylsilanes as new silyl protecting reagents.
