Research Interests

Organic chemistry in proteins.

We focus on the design and synthesis of functional molecules to study fundamental aspects of catalysis and molecular recognition. Our interests lie at the interface between chemistry and biology and we use peptides, small organic molecules and peptide conjugates to address problems in biology. We are especially interested in folded polypeptide catalysts and polypeptide conjugate binders for proteins.
